Do you love reading Shuukura? I do too! For this game jam, create a game celebrating Shuukura in some shape or form.
Don't know what Shuukura is? The full title is 週に一度クラスメイトを買う話 (Shuu ni Ichido Classmate wo Kau Hanashi, or A Story About Buying a Classmate Once a Week). It's a popular Japanese yuri web novel about two girls: Sendai Hazuki and Miyagi Shiori. A chance encounter of 5000 yen caused these two to become entangled with each other. Despite being "not friends", they get ever closer with each other...

Rules
- Entries should be considered a game (this includes kinetic visual novels and interactive fiction). Non-interactive fanzines and fanfiction are not allowed. If you're unsure if your project idea fits the game jam, please ask in the community forums. Physical games are okay—it does not need to be digital! This includes TTRPGs, card games, board games, etc.
- The game should be created for this game jam. You can think up ideas, draw sketches, and template out your code before the jam, but the majority of the work should be done during the jam time.
- The game should feature one or more characters from Shuukura, but the setting does not have to be from the original story (AKA AUs are fine)! Think of this as fanfiction but in game form. Any games submitted that are not Shuukura-related will be rejected.
- Please give credit to Haneda Usa in your credits as well as a link to their work. Also give credit to U35 and/or Migihara if you're using character/setting designs from either the light novel or manga respectively.
- To avoid spoiling people, make sure your game thumbnail does not reveal anything beyond the first 4 light novels/up to web novel chapter 118. In your game description, please note up to what chapter your game spoils. Not everyone is caught up!
- NSFW works are okay, but please mark your entry as such.
- You must have the license for any assets that you use. Make sure to credit appropriately!
- No AI generated assets, including art, music, or writing. Template code, art, music, or writing is allowed, but make sure to credit appropriately.
- Any language is fine!
- You can work on the game solo or in a team.
- You can submit more than one work if you like.
- You can submit the game to multiple game jams.
