How compelling of a short story you craft in just one week?

RULES:

• No involvement of generative AI is allowed. If you are found using generative AI, you will be immediately disqualified.
• Submissions must be under 2,000 words, not including titles, credits, etc.
• Submissions must be in PDF format.
• Submissions must have been written within the 1-week timeframe. No submitting stories you've already written and refined.
• Nothing sexual or otherwise perverted.
• Nothing overtly offensive.
• Submissions must be uploaded to itch.io and free to download.
• Illustrations are allowed, but you will not get extra points for including them unless they appropriately serve the story being told. You will not get extra points for the illustrations alone.
