Your favorite competition-free game jam is back! This time we're making it an ONLINE jam, so no matter where you live, you can join. Anybody can participate and it's FREE! Socially distant but virtually together, we’re gonna create amazing games :)

Slavic Game Jam (SGJ) is a 48-hour, competition-free jam. We invite all game development enthusiasts to take part. Each year the event gathers people from many countries to create games, share ideas, and simply have fun.

Due to difficult circumstances, we all found ourselves in, the classic stationary jam is impossible to organize. But to keep the Slavic spirit up, we decided to host SGJ 2020 ONLINE. Same formula, but a different approach. You can meet with other developers and work with your team remotely, all done in your home, sweet home :)

As you may have already heard, Slavic Game Jam is competition-free. There are no votes, presentations or prizes which leads to the best part: everybody has plenty of time to play everyone's games!

Previous editions of Slavic Game Jam featured games Showcase where every team could set up their games for other jammers to play. It also served a very important purpose: getting valuable feedback from the players. We'll try to come up with a similar solution for the upcoming online jam.

We're bringing back Slavic Game Jam Hyde Park - a place filled with you! Anybody can do anything they want in HydePark - lecture, workshop, showcase your work, play games, or do crazy stuff. The perfect way to let your creativity go wild! And it works online too :)

• Who is this event for?

Professionals, students, beginners, basically every game enthusiast can try their skills in a game jam, you are all welcome :) On a jam like this, you can find mostly programmers and graphic artists, but also sound designers, writers, designers or producers.

• Is it required to have a team before the jam?

No. It’s a common practice to join without a premade team and form a team on the jam. Or if you feel confident enough, you can always work solo.

• Can a minor participate in a game jam?

Anyone wishing to take part must be at least 18 years of age.
