The Stevens Game Development Club's 4th Annual Summer Jam!

We're running it a bit differently this time around:

  • Asset steals are unlimited, if credited.
    • That said, I'd highly recommend using some time to learn about making an asset you've previously stolen; look into learning how to make a basic song or some basic art! A little experience goes a long way when Game Jam crunch time is live. Consider using this time to refine your skills!
  • Games will be shown at our second meeting of next Semester in a Closing Ceremony-esque meeting, on 9/5/17.
    • Like I said earlier this is unbudgeted -- there are unfortunately no prizes so we may entirely skip voting to show off games and make extra time for Q&A for the new members.
  • Starting in June, we are going to start a weekly (or biweekly) Screenshot Saturday! Use these to show off any cool progress you've made, and to pressure your fellow jammers to get to work!
    • The name is screenshot, but videos, art assets, audio assets, etc are all welcome. Any progress is good progress!
  • The Theme(s)
    • The subtitle of the Jam is "Pick Two" -- you all submitted your theme suggestions and by some fate, in the spirit of our recent Showcase52, there are 52 themes in the pool.
    • As the name says, you should pick any two themes from the list (which range from more or less limiting or open depending on what you want), and run with them.
      • You should say somewhere which themes you are using.
    • The theme list is below.
