         03/11/26 - Kickoff ✅

The Jam Kickoff will be held in-person at the Makerspace on Wednesday, March 11th at 7:00pm. We go over Jam details, help form teams, and announce the theme! 

         03/18/26 - Spring Break 🔳

There will be no meeting this Wednesday - take some time to pace yourself and avoid burnout, and if you need any help, be sure to reach out in Discord!

         03/21/26 - Jam Entries Due 🔳

All game jam entries must be submitted to this itch page by SATURDAY, March 21st at 11:59pm. Please reach out to any SGDA officer if you have issues BEFORE the deadline.

         3/25/26 - Wrap-Up and Winners Announced 🔳

The Jam Wrap-Up will be held in-person on Wednesday, March 25th at 7:00pm.

Submission Rules:

1. Jam Submissions will close on SATURDAY, March 21st at 11:59pm. Aim to submit your game EARLY so any technical issues can be fixed in time!
2. Games must be developed ONLY during the duration of the jam.
3. Games must be developed ONLY  by those on your team.
4. Submit as a WebGL build (preferred), or a zipped Windows build if WebGL is not feasible. Other build formats are welcome IN ADDITION to those previously listed.
5. No unnecessary NSFW content. Games may be disqualified on a case-by-case basis for content violations.  (You'll almost always want to keep your games SFW on portfolios anyway!)

Judging:

Judging will occur from Sunday, March 22nd (1:00am) to Wednesday, March 25th (1:00pm)!

• INNOVATION  -  (CREATIVITY, Unique Systems, Use of Theme, New Ideas)
• VISUALS  -  (AESTHETICS, Art Direction, Lighting, VFX, Animation)
• AUDIO  -  (SOUND, Music, SFX, Quality and Use of Sound)
• OVERALL   -  (THE BEST of the best; All other categories considered!)
• FAN FAVORITE  -  (VOTED on by the community on the Itch.io page)
