South Essex College BSc Game Design runs game jams to encourage everyone to just start making! Experience comes with time spent doing so regardless of skill level, take this opportunity to practice your craft and build up experience.
Again, this Jam will be all about interpretation of an abstract theme to exercise your creativity!
This Jam
SEC Games Design Winter Jam is aimed at doing what you love and perfecting your craft. As long as it follows the theme, all types of submissions are welcome including:
- Games
- 3D models
- Narratives
- Pitches
- Concepts
- Music
- Animations
Express yourself no matter what area of Game Development you enjoy.
Theme
(Theme is open to interpretation, please take creative liberties and don't rush the idea!)
Rules
- Ensure to put what you make in to context. If you create sound effects, be clear about there intended uses. If you create 3D Assets, communicate what type of game you imaging them in.
- Anything created should be your own original work
- Both team and solo efforts are fine
- Submit a zip folder containing you work
- You aren't expected to be developing for the whole two weeks (though you can if you wish), its that length so everyone can find the time to participate.
