The Composer Weekend Jam is a music jam, for composers of all levels to challenge themselves to create something new in a weekend in a controlled stress environment. Like traditional game jams, collaboration is highly encouraged. Perhaps you have someone else add a layer to your audio, maybe you mix someone else's track. The sky is the limit!
As suggested by a community member, April is "Sonic Branding Month". All of our jams will be centered around how brands, businesses, and content creators use music and sound to build their brand.I will be hosting live stream masterclasses on the youtube channel going over sonic branding, what it is, why it matters, and how to do it so be sure to check that out!
Sonic Logos Masterclass will be hosted Tuesday 4/7 at 4pm. Learn all about sonic logos, what they are, and what makes a good one!
This event is run by ScoringTech.net - be sure to check out the blog for some good music related content. Be sure to join our discord- we can use that to give feedback or discuss the tracks at the end of this jam or prep for future iterations of our monthly jam.

Rules & Guidelines
You have one hour to create a cue based on a theme given in my live stream. I will be doing the challenge live in 60 minutes, but you have about a week to get it done. Please limit yourself STRICTLY to 60 minutes it is for growth of yourself as a composer - this is on the honor system as I can not enforce this. Please adhere to this rule, as the only person you're really cheating is yourself.
Projects can be submitted in a .wav or .mp3 file or a youtube link. If there are interactive elements feel free to submit a screen cap of your wwise project and showing off interactivity. Voting will take place on our discord server, where a lot more of the discussion/feedback around music takes place as it is easier to listen without having to download anything. Feel free to check it out
You can use any DAW, plugin,instrument or whatever you have available to you to complete this challenge. However, no existing music can be used and any use of generative AI is an instant disqualification.
