WHAT?

This jam is dedicated to PHYSICAL, like pen and paper, tabletop RPGs. We spend increasingly more time on our computers, tablets, and phones, right? For work, for entertainment, to keep in touch with our community. Let's take a break and craft something with our hands. Draw, print, cut, glue, sew and assemble, and make a tabletop role-playing game zine! 

ZINES

Your entry can be a module, a game, an adventure, backgrounds, optional rules, a solo game, any variation around the TTRPG theme is accepted.

RULES

• Pretty simple. Create a tabletop role-playing zine using no (or little) digital tools.
• The layout has to be done with analog techniques! No software allowed for the layout part. However, you can print text blocks, draw digital images, print, cut and glue them. Basically, do your thing, as long as it involves paper, scissors, and glue (or any variations of those) you're cool.
• Any other analog technique is valid: tape, stitches, needle and thread, you name it.
• To sum up: Assemble your zine with analog tools, scan it and submit it to the jam. (if this is not possible for some reason, the zine-thingy is a 3D item or you made a Pop-up zine, do what you can, upload a photo, a plan)
• Upload PDF copies of the zines. PDFs folks! PDFs!
• Be kind to the rest of the community. Unless used with the intent to illustrate a positive impact avoid racism, sexual harassment/abuse, domestic violence and discrimination.
• Upload an additional plaintext file for a better accessibility of your content. Please don't skip this part.
• You're free to charge for your submissions if you want.
• You are free to submit entries in any language but please add to the entry page a short description in English for accessibility purposes.

COMMUNITY

The jam has a channel in The Lost Bay discord server. You'll find there participants to the previous edition of the jam and a cool community of indie designers and TTRPG enthusiasts. 

The jam is organized  by various members of The Lost Bay server.

WHEN 

The Jam will run from the 1st of November until the 31st of January 2023 December. It's a pretty long jam, we want you to have the time to experiment and try things.

¿QUÉ?

Esta jam está dedicada a LO FÍSICO, como juegos de rol de mesa, con lapiz y papel. Pasamos cada vez más tiempo en nuestras computadoras, tablets, y teléfonos, no? Por trabajo, por entretenimiento, para mantenernos en contacto con nuestrxs seres queridxs. Descansemos un poco y creemos algo con nuestras manos. Dibujá, imprimí, cortá, pegá, cosé y armá, y hacé un zine de un juego de rol de mesa! 

ZINES

Tu entrada puede ser un módulo, un juego, una aventura, trasfondos, reglas opcionales, un juego en solitario, cualquier variación alrededor de los TTRPGs es aceptada. 

REGLASS

• Es bastante sencillo. Creá un zine de un juego de rol de mesa no usando (o usando muy poco) herramientas digitales. 
• ¡El maquetado tiene que ser hecho con técnicas anológicas! No se permite usar programas para hacer maquetado. Sin embargo, se puede imprimir bloques de textos, dibujar imágenes digitales, imprimir, cortar y pegarlas. Básicamente, hacé tu cosa, mientras involucre papel, tijeras, y pegamento (o cualquier variación de esos instrumentos) está bien. 
• Cualquier otra técnica analógica es válida: cinta, costura, bordado. 
• Para resumir: armá tu zine con herramientas analógicas, escanealo y envialo a la jam. (si esto no es posible por alguna razón, tu zine es 3D o hiciste un zine pop-up, hacé lo que puedas, subí una foto, un plano)
• Subí copias PDF de tu zine. ¡PDFs, gente! ¡PDFs!
• Sé amable con el resto de la comunidad. A menos que sea con la intención de ilustrar un impacto positivo evitá el racismo, el abuso sexual, la violencia doméstica y la discriminación. 
• Subí un texto plano adicional para mejorar la accesibilidad de tu contenido. Por favor no te saltees este paso. 
• Sos libre de cobrar por tu entrada si querés.

La jam tiene un canal de Discord acá: The Lost Bay discord server. Vas a encontrar acá participantes de la edición previa y una comunidad copada de diseñadores de TTRPG independientes

La Jam es organizada por varies miembros del servidor de The Lost Bay.

CUÁNDO

La Jam es desde el 1ero de Noviembre hasta el 31 de Enero 2023 Diciembre. Es una jam bastante larga, queremos que tengan tiempo de experimentar e intentar cosas.
