Hey everyone! Are you ready  for our very first game jam! We're diving headfirst into the exciting world of game development, and we want you to be a part of it. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone, from absolute beginners to seasoned developers, to come together, learn new skills, and make some amazing games.

Arcade/High Score

Short, simple and easy to play games that encourages players to compete and strive to get the highest score.

Start Date and Time: October 16 12:00 AM

End Date and Time: October 22  11:59 PM

Rules

• Games must be created within the jam timeframe.
• The games must not include offensive, discriminatory, or NSFW content of any kind.
• You may team up with your friends! And we encourage it.
• You may use pre-made, publicly available, and purchased assets. Just remember to credit properly.  
• Have Fun :)

Rating

The submitted games will be rated based on the following factors:

• Fun & Game Design: Do you want to continue playing? How enjoyable is the game?
• Graphics: How nice does the game look? Is the art nice to look at?
• Audio: How nice does the game sound? Does it implement cool music and sound effects?
• Originality & Innovation: How often did you say "Wow! That's unexpected and clever" when playing?
• Theme: How relevant is the game to the jam's theme?

Don’t worry about this too much, though. The most important thing is that you participate, have fun, and stick to the jam’s theme!

The Top 5  rated games will be displayed at SAGE’s booth during the intramurals.

Submission

The submission is open during the duration of the jam. You can submit anytime.

- To Submit your game, make sure you've joined the jam by clicking the "JOIN JAM" button above.
- After that, click the "SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT" button.
- You can choose to upload your game whether through Itch or Gdrive.

Itch Submission
- Upon clicking the "SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT" button, click the "UPLOAD GAME" button.
- Fill out the necessary field (No need to fill out all, only the ones required)
- Make sure to put your LastName and Year Level in the "Short description or tagline" field
- Make sure the pricing is set to "donate" or "no payments"

- After that click, "SAVE & VIEW PAGE"
Note: Make sure the "Visible and Access" section is set to public

Gdrive Submission
- Upon clicking the "SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT" button, click the provided Gdrive Folder Link
- Before uploading, make sure to name your file as follow; LastName_YearLvl_GameName
- And that the build file is uploaded in a zip file format (.rar, .zip)
- After that, UPLOAD the file to the provided Gdrive Folder Link
