Hello everyone and welcome to Run & Jumps' 4th Annual Game Jam! Members of Run & Jump are here to celebrate the development of our flagship game Lone & Vita with you through the power of teamwork and game development! You may not know why this year's submission page was made by someone other than a familiar noblelemon, but that's because this time around we're hosting the jam in fellow member The_True_Igni's Diner with help from co-host w111nd! (Rest assured they are well and will still be participating this year!). Even with the change of seats and scenery, we're running the jam from 6pm EST on the 1st of August to 6pm EST on the 8th of August just the same, so stay on your toes to beat the heat from the kitchen!

Along with the jam, from the 25th of July to the 8th of August, we are hosting a Fan Art Drive in our very own community Discord, where you can also join teams for the jam and catch up on Run & Jump news and streams! Make sure to stop by and share your very own art with fellow artists, jammers and community members!

NOTE ON TEAMS: While a solo run is very noble, we do still allow and encourage team submissions, but please keep them to a reasonable number. Keep the teams anywhere from 2 to 5 people per submission please and thank you!

RULES

• Keep it PG, no NSFW. Please understand that your entry will be played live on The_True_Igni's Twitch, so it must correspond with Twitch's guidelines and be something you are comfortable sharing with others.
• Teams are allowed but make sure to credit everyone involved. Be sure to credit all external assets that are used, i.e. assets you did not make yourself.
• This is a fun, casual sort of jam. It will not be ranked in any way. Please make sure to leave friendly, encouraging comments on other submissions! We want to promote a cooperative atmosphere, not put one another down, be friendly!
• Please do not use pre-existing content or characters. Original content only, the goal is to make something new! To add to that, a game jam is for you to explore your creativity and push yourself to your limits. You must make your game. No AI.
• Although we are celebrating Lone & Vita's development, we are not asking for a Lone and Vita game. Create something of your own, something original!
• Browser-based submissions only. Submissions must be worked on exclusively during the timeframe of the jam. No uploads allowed after the submission deadline.
• Your submission should be for this jam only! We're only interested in unique games tailored to our specific theme and vibe!
