The holiday aspect can be any holiday you life. It can be a popular holiday, a pagan holiday, an obscure saint's day, or even a personal holiday only celebrated by your found family [like a birthday, anniversary, or other personally meaningful day]. Perhaps you want to make a scenario about a familiars' Friendsgiving. Maybe an adventure where you must save your Christmas by saving the witch and the presents she made. Maybe on Samhain you need to remind the witch she has a family in you while she struggles with hostile ancestors.
Found family is made of the people and love you find along the way in life. Regardless of your relationship with your blood family, they are lifelong companions and true family to you. In Run, Familiar! the witch and your fellow familiars are your discovered family.
You can also take it in other directions! Personal ties or relationships rules are wonderful. Holiday themed dungeons are fun. GM and player guidance about the power of friendship would be neat. Any kind of supplement that fits the themes of found family and the holidays are welcome!

In Run, Familiar! you play a Witch's devoted familiars, thrust into a harrowing adventure for devotion’s sake. The witch is in a bind and it falls on you to get them out of it. Run, Familiar! is a rules-light, OSR-inspired game of loyalty, love, magic, and mayhem perfect for one-shots replete with clever talking animals, occult sorcery, and hijinks aplenty.
