HIIII hello everybody, this is the first jam im hosting and i know its on a very short notice, and quite short but that is the fun of it.

This idea started because I challenged my little brother (quite the coding smartie) to make a rhythm game in 7 days and I'd make one too, a mini game jam of sorts. But you're not here to hear my life story, you wanna make a game! Maybe!
We're going a little lean with stuff here so heres the rules.

• ABSOLUTELY NO AI GENERATED CONTENT
  My policy on AI is that it must be used as an assistant at best, all entries with ai generated images, music or story will be disqualified. What IS allowed to a MINIMUM is AI assisted code (please try to do your own code as much as possible, but I understand if you use it for bug fixing.) and proofreading (once again, please just ask a person to do it if you can, but I wont disqualify using AI as much as I dislike it.)

• IT MUST BE A RHYTHM GAME
  Plain and simple, your game needs to have rhythm game aspects in some sense, some examples are guitar hero likes, like FNF, vivid/stasis, and many other notable rhythm games, theres also one key games like Rhythm Doctor, Geometry Dash and more, or minigame collections like Rhythm Heaven, and more ideas, Your concept should be unique in some sense, but still be a rhythm game.

• NO NSFW!
  I'm a minor, my fellow judges are likely minors, porn and heavy gore is BANNED and will get you disqualified, Minor sexual mention or slightly violent act may be okay, but make sure to check with somebody if they think its within the rules. Heavy mental health topics are alright, but maybe good to stray away from for a game jam like this.

• PREMADE ASSETS
  You can have a little as a treat, use SFX or free to use sprites but please don't make an entire game out of them Okay actually that might look cool visually just please try to make your own stuff as well!
  A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE ON THIS THOUGH, premade music from whatever artists you like ARE allowed, but do NOT monetize the game using those assets, use them politely and with courtesy and with credit to the artist.

• CAN GANG DO IT WITH ME
  This jam is intended to be done solo, outside help is alright though and accepted, If you're an entire team we ask you clarify that, but are allowed to do the game jam as you wish.

• THE THEME!!!!!!
  Yes, this game jam has a theme of course other than rhythm games, but you dont have to follow it if youd like, but yknow. points.
  Your theme will be.... TRICK OR TREAT!
  And yes, I'm giving it to you upfront, you can have time to brainstorm how you'd like, and while I suppose you could start on your game early, using the alotted time is much more fun i think!

• can i have a prize 🥺
  unfortunately the best i can give out is a good feeling, this isnt meant to be taken too seriously after all!

How will this be rated? Quite simple really! Your fellow authors will rate your entry how they see fit, but there will ALSO be judge exclusive rankings, as I will be participating in this game jam myself, these judges will be my much more rhythm game inclined friend(s)
THE CRITERIA IS AS FOLLOWS!
Rhythm - How well your game sticks to the rhythm theming or actuallys stays on beat rhythm.
Uniqueness - How creative you got! We wanna see all kinds of cool stuff here so uniqueness is important!
Trick - If you follow the "trick" theme, yes trick or treat is one theme BUT It can be seperated into each one.
Treat - See above.
THE JUDGES MIGHTY VOTE! - This one is given by the judge(s) based on a mix of all criteria, notably, i am not the judge, so this is not just bias.
