Welcome back to the roguelike jam 4! you can ask questions in either the discord or in the community page of the jam!

This time around there will also be an optional bonus theme!
Remember when rating the games that the "theme" criteria only refers to the base theme of the jam and not the optional one, the optional theme will be revealed at the same time as the regular theme!

Create  a roguelike game in two weeks. Roguelike usually means you start with nothing and become stronger over the course of the game but when you die you restart the game. Roguelites are very similar to roguelikes except the fact that the player can unlock things for later runs, both roguelites and roguelikes are accepted for the game jam! 2d, 3d, text-based and whatever else you manage to make is allowed in the jam!

No NSFW. The games will be voted on by anyone and will be rated on:

Fun - how enjoyable the game is to play. Innovation - how unique the game is. Replayability - how replayable the game is. Audio - how good the sound is. Visuals - how good the art, effects, models,  etc. are.  Theme - how in line with the theme the game is. 

The theme will be announced on the 26th of September!
