Voices chant ominously as candlelight flickers off a damp stone wall… A sharp blade glides along a hand and blood is dripped into a waiting chalice… A lone witch carefully reads a page in a yellowed book on a kitchen counter before crushing dried flowers into a bubbling cauldron… Shaking fingers wrap around a smooth, glassy stone in a pocket, thumb brushing over the rune etched into it for luck.

Rituals can be dark and forbidden or innocent and mundane. They can offer a sacrifice, make a demand, profess worship, request protection or promise destruction. There are as many different kinds of rituals as there are people to perform them. What ritual will you create?

The Ritual TTRPG Jam will run from October 1 to October 31. Afterwards, interested participants will have the opportunity to include their submission in a bundle to run through November. Bundle proceeds will be divided evenly between participants.

Rules

• Submissions must be a TTRPG or related product. This can include modules, supplements, original games, solo games, hacks, zines, art, or assets.
• Submissions must involve a ritual in some way.
• Submissions that promote bigotry or hatred towards marginalized groups (ie racism, sexism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia, etc) are not allowed and will be immediately removed.
• Please provide a plain text version if your submission isn’t screen reader friendly.
• Content warnings must be clearly visible on the project page for any submissions that involve content which could be considered sensitive or adult in nature (ie body horror, gratuitous violence, sexual content, emotional scenes, etc).
• Your submission must not include any AI-generated art or writing. Submissions made with AI will also be removed.
• While we welcome previously published projects, we’d like to see what new projects people make.

We recommend pricing your submission, though it’s not a requirement for entry. We just believe in charging for your work.
