The theme of the jam is Interactive Fiction. Things like text adventures and visual novels. It's a really interesting space for designing games where you can focus on interactions between characters, dialogue, and choices.

This is a jam for everyone! Even if you've never made a game before there are a lot of tools out there for developing interactive fiction without coding. Of course if you have an engine or language you already like feel free to use it! 

Teams are welcome but don't be intimidated if you don't have one, we're sure you could make a great game on your own.
