hi, i'm feyxuan nguyen, an utena fan that wants to make at least one game inspired by RGU while also meeting other folks who have been as transformed by RGU as i have been. if you're not familiar with my body of work, it is much in line with what ikuhara did with his intricate web of immersive trauma symbolism that exists within the world of RGU, but this time i want to do something that engages more deeply with the anime than previous allusions to it have in my work. 

i want to create something that doesn't necessarily require the knowledge of RGU to consume and understand, but that would immensely benefit and expand in dimension based off of familiarity with RGU. 

so, with that said, i'll be working alongside any jam participants as you create your incredible works.

i've got a feeling this little jam i made for entirely selfish reasons will be composed of mostly me and a few friends, if that, but i wanted to make a server in case more people join than the 1-2 i expect. here's the discord link.

there's no prize or anything, i just wanted to try my hand at inviting people to join me in my little RGU game journey.

permitted works:

• a game in any medium (bitsy, twine, ren'py, TTRPG)
• a written work in any medium (poetry, prose, hybrid)
• anything you can think of that is a creative work submittable on itch 
• NSFW OK, just warn for it
• content warnings necessary

the only thing is that it has to engage in conversation with RGU in some way, shape, or form.
