Welcome to the first edition of the Return To Your Roots (RTYR) GameJam!

This Jam is for beginners and veterans alike, the theme is to return to your roots! Either paying tribute to the first game you made, remaking it, making a sequel for it, making a game in the same genre or make anything related to how you started. 

Let's all remember the good times where we either decided to jump head first in this adventurous world of GameDev, or maybe just gently lowered ourselves into it. No matter how you started, it is important to remember and appreciate it! Show how proud you are by returning to your roots!

• Paying tribute to the first game you made;
• Remaking your first game;
• Making a sequel for your first game;
• Making a game in the same genre of your first game;
• Making a game in the same artstyle of your first game;
• Pay tribute to what made you curious about GameDev;
• Using the first engine you started;
• Gathering the same team from those times;
• Proving how much you improved by comparison; 
• Open for new suggestions.
