REMASTER JAM
Task:
Recreate an old and (preferably) bad game of yours using the skills and techniques you have learned since.
Requirements:
An old game jam game of yours (or your friends with permission) that you will be ready to recreate. Everything can be redesigned except for the general theme of your game. (If its a pixel art top down shooter don't migrate it to a triple A FPS game). The game's new name must be the same as the original followed by "Remastered".
Recommendations:
It is recommended that you create your project from scratch with code optimization and visual optimization in mind the entire time. Try to set goals before the week period like "I want to improve the visuals of the game." or "I want to make the controls more fluid." etc. The main point of this jam is to add more JUICE and POLISH to your games (assuming you didn't know how to at the time of making the game). Easy ways to achieve this is adding Post Processing, screen shake, satisfying sounds, rewarding gameplay etc.
