Ready, set, make!
The Small Games Lab at the Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities is hosting an in-person game jam for UMD students and affiliates this Friday, September 11, from 2–5 PM in HBK 0301.
It’s beginner-friendly, open to any engine or tool, and you can work solo or in a team. Come make a small game in an afternoon, try something new, and explore. There’ll also be merch as prizes!
The game jam is part of NextNOW Fest at MITH, so there’ll be other things happening in the space too, including a zine workshop, mini-arcade, and a digital playground with motion capture and VR.
No experience required. Digital or analog, polished or weird, anything goes. Just come make something!
You can find more information about the Small Games Lab and its associated groups here, and more about MITH here.
