This Game Jam is aimed at Students completing the Industry & Community Engagement Module in Manchester Metropolitan University

The Theme

Create a game that teaches people about the importance of sustainability and what they can do to combat climate change. This may be a game that teaches about consumption rates or requires the player to grow their own planet.

Requirements & Rules

- The term "game" is pretty broad in this Jam. Anything that requires player input can be accepted

- The game must be related to the theme in some manner

- Keep Generated AI use to a minimum; the purpose of this Jam is to show off your skills, not an AI's

- Work produced by others must have explicit credit and with permission given

- Collaboration with fellow participants is allowed. Multiple participants can submit the same game where credit to all collaborators are shown (including the submitter)

Judging & Ratings

This gamejam will not have a formal ratings system, to not intimidate people from joining an otherwise competitive event. However, checking out other's submissions and providing constructive criticism is encouraged.
