Reading and Writing Games is a final-year unit offered by the English Department at Manchester Metropolitan University. Here we present work in progress from the ‘writing’ aspect of the unit in which students create games using a variety of platforms, both analogue and digital. The assignment includes a ‘Game Proposal’ (500 words) that offers a synopsis of the project and a creative piece (2000 words).

This optional game jam is open to all students on the unit who would like to share work in progress and final submissions. Files can be updated at any point until December 31st 2020 and we encourage you to comment on each other’s work.  The Jam is currently set to private (visible only to those with the link), we'll open it up to the public to share the games in January 2021.
