Welcome to Random Jam 2025!

The wildest, weirdest, and most unpredictable game jam of the year — where chaos meets creativity.

 Theme: “Random”

Your game must include randomness as a central concept — in theme, mechanics, humor, or design.

You can mix genres, clash ideas, or surprise players at every turn.

>  Example:

You make a horror game… but every scare is interrupted by a random joke, a dancing skeleton, or a potato that gives life advice.

The more unexpected your game feels, the better.

You can work solo or in teams of any size.

Use any engine or tool you like.

Judging Criteria

After submission, community members and judges will rate each game based on the following:

Category Description

Creativity & Randomness How unpredictable and original is your concept?

Fun Factor Is your game enjoyable, funny, or delightfully strange?

Design & Gameplay How well does the randomness fit into the gameplay experience?

Art & Audio Do the visuals and sounds enhance the chaotic charm?

Overall Polish How finished and playable does the game feel?

>  Every vote counts! Play other games and rate them fairly to help your fellow jammers climb the leaderboard.

 

Rules

You can use any engine, framework, or assets (original or free-to-use).

Keep your submission SFW (safe for work) and respectful.

No stolen or copyrighted content.

Submissions must be made within the jam period.

 Awards

Top-ranked games will be featured on the jam page and promoted in our Discord community.

Some winners might even get special mentions for unique categories such as:

“Most Unexpected Moment”

“Funniest Bug”

“Best Random Sound Effect”
