In collaboration with team IGNITE., QUBE. is proud to announce the QUBE. Hackathon as part of the Building Passion with Robotics Event, organised with the occasion of The European Robotics Week.

THEME:

“Every day’s issues”

Everyday, we find ourselves face-to-face with lots and lots of problems…

Are we just going to endure them, or shall we find solutions?

Can you use your imagination and create something new?

Modern problems require modern solutions.

How would you solve a common issue nowadays?

Use your skills to design an app, a game, a website or a piece of software that can solve a challenge people face every day!

Whether you're a programming newbie or a seasoned hackathon veteran, we invite you to participate in our 4-day long event and find a way to overcome an everyday obstacle.

Details

You'll be able to submit your games/apps from 26th until 28th November at 11:59 AM EET. After the voting period ends, we’ll announce the winners at the awarding ceremony on our Discord server on November 29th. There are also prizes for the best pieces of software created by high school, college, or university students!

If you’ve never built an app, a game, a website or a program before, no worries! There are plenty of learning resources out there. You can find a list of them on our discord server!

F.A.Q.

1.Who’s eligible to participate?

Anyone over the age of 13 is eligible to participate! We want to encourage and support the efforts of student developers, so for prizing eligibility, we require that you're a currently-enrolled junior high, high school, college, or graduate student. For winning entries, we will be asking for proof of current enrollment.

2.I’ve never programmed before. Can I participate?

Yes! We're hosting this hackathon to introduce anyone who's interested to the world of app development. We've prepared a list of resources on our discord server.
