Welcome to The Pygamer Tooling Jam!

This month we are partnering with the  Pyglet Discord!

Join the discussion on the Pygamer discord!

What is the tooling jam? Well this jam differs from last months jam in that the focus will be making a tool, module or library.

There is no topic or theme but the bonus goal is that it should work for both pygame and pyglet! This really just means that if you make a module or library it should not be specific to one framework and should support both. In the case of cli or gui tools they would be considered to work for both (in most cases).

The submissions will be rated on 4 categories:

  • Overall
  • Documentation (how well it was documented)
  • Ease of use (how easy it was to utilize)
  • Potential(how it could impact your workflow)

Rules:

  • Majority of the code must be written between the start and end date of the submission period.
  • Does not have to be written fully in python but needs to be able to be imported into python (in the case of it being a module)
  • must include a usage demo (if its a module/library)
  • CLI based tools are okay too! just don't forget to document!

Only submitter's can vote on other entries.
