Q. Why do you recommend against distributing executables that everyone can download and run?
Some of your team members may not feel comfortable downloading and executing unsigned executables that were packaged on random dev machines. In order to make sure that everyone can enjoy and check out your work, we'd recommend that you provide an online version as an option. Existing engines (such as Unity and Unreal) allow for WebGL deployment, and through the magic of WebAssembly solutions, it's probably easier than you think to support a web client version.
