We're happy to welcome you to the 2024 Abertay Professional Project Showcase. Here, you will find a variety of group projects created by our wonderful 3rd Year students before they embark on their final year with us. They have worked hard to get to this point so we hope you take a look around, play a few prototypes and enjoy!

Abertay's professional project module is delivered between January and May each year. We bring together 3rd Year students from across our programmes to form multidisciplinary teams to work on interactive media projects for a host of great clients and causes. Our aim is to give our students an opportunity to hone their technical, teamwork and communication skills ahead of their professional careers.

The courses involved are:

  • BA (Hons) Computer Arts
  • BA (Hons) Game Design and Production
  • BSc (Hons) Computer Game Applications Development
  • BSc (Hons) Computer Games Technology

Each team is assigned a brief, a client or industry mentor and an academic tutor to offer advice and guide them on their journey.

The prototypes you see in this collection are the result of our students' hard work and dedication, so we hope you enjoy reviewing their efforts!

If you would like to get involved next year as either a client or mentor please reach out to us at prof-project-tutors@abertay.ac.uk. We're always going through revisions to how the process works so we can provide more details on enquiry.

We've asked the teams to put together their own Itch.io pages to showcase their projects. Here is a list of this years participating teams!
