PONG is arguably one of the most influential video games to our industry. November 29th, 2022 marks the 50th Anniversary of Pong! To celebrate, I am creating this Game Jam on itch. This jam will take place during the week of November 29th, 2022 (starting November 27th, to December 3rd).
The rules are simple:
- Your game must be inspired by Pong
- It cannot be an exact clone of Pong, make something new!
- Your project should begin when the Jam period starts, and be submitted before the end.
- You may use any game engine or development tool
- All assets and code must be created by you, been granted permission for you to use, or be public domain/open source.
Even though this probably does not need to be said: YOU retain all rights to your game submitted to this jam!
