PlayBrutal is a web application which allows streamers and their viewers to play the games together more seamlessly and easily and makes the streams more interactive and enjoyable.

• GAME JAM THEMES BELOW 🚀
  The game must incorporate at least one of the following themes:-  
• 1. Mystery 
• 2. Time  
• 3. Relationships 
• 4. Survival

• A theme is an idea or concept that you should try to implement into your game if you can, and use it for inspiration when creating something. You don't have to use the theme, but there is a rating category dedicated to it, so keep that in mind. 

Here are the rules for participating in this event:

• You must use the Unity game engine to make your multiplayer game. 
• The multiplayer games must not include offensive, discriminatory, or NSFW content of any kind. This is an event for anyone and everyone! So don’t be rude. 
• Games must be submitted through itch.io for rating.
• Games must be published to be played on browsers, without requiring extra hardware.
• Any text must be in English.
• You may team up! And we encourage it. The maximum number of team members allowed is 4. 
• The game itself must be made within the jam time period, and you may not submit any work or updates after the submission period.
• You may use pre-made, publicly available, and purchased assets, or other assets you have the legal rights to use. Just remember to credit properly. 
• You can use pre-existing code, extensions, and functions. 
• All the games that receive prizes or pass our evaluation criteria will be uploaded on the PlayBrutal web app.
• The game must be playable on the web (Upload a WebGL build).

 

All games will be rated in the following categories: 

• Fun & Game Design: Do you want to continue playing? How enjoyable is the game? Is the interface usable?
• Game Completion: Is the game complete for the players to play?
• Originality & Innovation: How often did you say "Wow! That's unexpected and clever" when playing?
• Theme: How relevant is the game to the jam's theme?

Don’t worry about this too much, though. The most important thing is that you participate, have fun, and stick to the jam’s theme!

 

Prize Pool Of 15,000  INR Cash

• 1^st place prize – 4000 INR
• 2^nd place prize – 3000  INR
• 3^rd place prize – 2000  INR
• Best Gameplay - 500 INR
• Best Theme Implementation - 500  INR
• Best Aesthetic - 500  INR
• Best Game Design - 500 INR
• Apart from the above prizes, The remaining 4000 INR prizes will be given to the other deserving games.

Note - The prize money will only be given once the rewarded games are published on the PlayBrutal web app after doing some minor enhancements in your game.

 

• You should upload your game to itch.io. From there you can upload the files, and provide additional details. 

• The game should be uploaded to play on the browsers(Webgl Build).
