A creative jam for designers, devs, and typography nerds!

A jam dedicated to the beauty of pixelated letters. Create and share your own bitmap or pixel fonts — retro, futuristic, weird, or minimalist — it’s all welcome as long as it's pixel-perfect.

 📅 Schedule

  • Start: June 1, 2025
  • End: December 31, 2025
  • Voting ends: July 31, 2026

🎯 Theme

The goal is to design a font made of pixels. You can:

  • Create a full alphabet or just a few characters (please, we all know you can do better than this!)
  • Design a typeface in .ttf/.otf or a tileset/spritesheet (GB studio spritesheet most welcome)
  • Show off your font in a mockup, screenshot or mini-game

✅ Rules

Fonts must be designed using a pixel grid or style. You may submit:

  • A downloadable font file (.ttf, .otf, .json, .png…)
  • A game or demo showcasing your font.
  • A preview image or mockup.
  • You can work solo or in a team.
  • Fonts generated by AI are not allowed unless heavily modified.
  • You retain full rights to your font, but we encourage open sharing.

🗳️ Voting Criteria

Both submitter and contributors to submission can vote.

  • Legibility
  • Creativity
  • Pixel Craftsmanship
  • Presentation / Use case

Please try to leave CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, whether positive or negative.

🎁 Prizes

This is a just-for-fun jam!
