The point of this game is to make a game using the Pico 8 font (the image below) as your only visual assets. There will be one theme that is announced when the jam starts

• NO AI
• must only use the Pico 8 font for visual assets
• must at least try to implement the theme
• follow itch TOS
• must have a web build (no download required)

• Q: do i have to use pico 8 A: no you just have to use the pico 8 font as your visual assets
• Q: can i make the font any color A: yes
• Q: can i do a 3d game with an ascii shader A: yes but thats not very creative is it
• Q: is nsfw allowed A: yes but idk how you would but make it known that its nsfw 
• Q: is gore allowed A: yes but add a warning 
• Q: can i combine characters to create sprites A: yes
• Q: in pico-8 can i use spr() and sspr() instead of print() A: yes as long as the sprites only use characters from the font
• Q: can i use sspr() stretching on the characters in pico-8 A: no 
• Q: can i use the control codes for print() in pico-8 (font size, color, outlines) A: yes
• Q: can i use shape functions such as rectangles and lines A: no they are not part of the font
• Q: do i need to use all the themes A: no
