This is the 50-hour ART Game Jam, where the most important is to show off your individual style!

All assets have to be self-made without Gen-AI!

Starts on the 13th of November at 7PM (CET), and ends on the 15th of November at 9PM (CET).

Followed by a voting period of 1 week, to which only submittors and contributors can vote.

The theme will be announced on the 13th of November at 7PM.

• Self-made assets only - This applies to all visual assets (i.e. textures, sprites, models, particle effects).
• No AI-generated assets - This jam is a celebration of human created art, therfore you must not generate assets with AI.
• Game has to be made especially for the Jam.
• Go solo or bring your friends! (or form a team on Discord) - Team size is not limited, but for transparency please list all contributors (either directly on itch.io if everyone has an account, or at least in the description of your submission).
• Don't submit and run! - Every team has to rate at least 10 submissions during the voting period. It's important to appreciate the work of others. The voting period will be right after submission end and last one week. (If there is less than 10 submissions then you'll have to play and rate all of them).
• Follow the theme.

  Who can enter?
  Everyone is welcome! No matter your game dev experience, age, gender, ethnicity, whatever... join us! :)
  

  Can I use AI-generated assets?
  No! You must not use any AI tools to generate images, 3D models or sound. That would be against the spirit of this jam.
  AI has no place in art!

  Can I use photographs as my assets?
  Yes! If it's photos that you took yourself this is a 100% viable option of creating assets!
  

  What about UI Elements (buttons, health bars, etc.)?
  Yes, for UI you should use self-made assets only as they impact the aesthetics of the game.
  

  What about Audio and SFX?
  Audio and SFX are excluded from the self-made asset only rules, however, the no-AI rule still applies! And if you create your own audio assets, even better!  
  

  What about Fonts?
  Use whatever font you'd like. No need to create own fonts.
  

  Which game engine can I use?
  You can use any game engine you want or none at all. It's entirely up to you.
  

  Can I use AI for programming?
  Yes, this is allowed as it would be impossible for us to enforce.
  

  Can I create assets ahead of time? / Can I reuse assets from previous projects?
  Yes and yes. As long as it was created by you (or one of your team mates) feel free to use it!

  How does voting work?
  The submission period is followed by a 1-week voting period.  Only participants of the jam can vote.
  (We decided for this solution to avoid it being a simple popularity contest.)
  

  Anything else forbidden?
  Hateful comments, language or visuals will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate exclusion from the event.
  We want everyone to feel safe during this event.
