Theme

This jam's theme is still being decided on. Join our Discord server to see the discussion.

While not strictly required, we do highly recommend you incorporate the theme into your submission.

Participating

No matter your skill, we encourage you to join the fun! This jam is the perfect opportunity to create your first game, or create a foundation for your next project.

We strongly encourage collaboration to maximize your potential. You can use our team-building forum channel on Discord to build or find a team for your project.

Use the hashtag #PantherJam on social media to share updates and links to your projects. Similarly, you can use that tag to find this game jam on itch.io.

Submitting

There are three requirements for this jam:

  1. No AI-generated audio/visuals are allowed.
None. However, free, open-source artwork is perfectly acceptable and encouraged to speed up your development time. If you use open-source resources, provide details and links about them.

  2. Your game must be playable in a web browser.
Unity and Godot are excellent candidate game engines for this, but you are free to use any engine you desire.

  3. If you worked as part of a team, list all contributors on your game's page.
Additional Notes:
  • We highly advise you create new content for this game jam - submitting previous projects makes no sense.

  • You are free to submit your game anytime between June 16th and June 23rd.

Voting

Voting will run from June 23rd to June 30th, and the voting queue will be enabled to randomize the games presented to voters. Winners will be announced in our June 30th virtual meeting on Discord!

Games will be voted on the following criteria: Gameplay, Innovation, Theme, Graphics, and Audio.

Updates to fix bugs will be allowed during voting, but refrain from adding new content until voting is over.
