To kickstart our new community we'll be running our first CodeJam over the course of the Christmas Period! Woooooo!!
๐๐ DECEMBER 15th to DECEMBER 31st ๐๐
Rules for the CodeJam:
- The work should be your own, and made solely within the CodeJam Timeframe! Use of AI/ Open Source/ Free Assets and resources not protected is acceptable, but we encourage using these in a safe and educational way!
- You may work independently or in a team (Note: Team's larger than 3-5 can be VERY hard to manage in short timescales)
- You are welcome to make whatever you like! Website, Game, Application, anything - but submissions must be made via Itch.io (Not sure how this works? Ask in the Discord after the start time and we'll be able to show you how you connect an entry to the 'Jam).
- Closer to the start date, the topic of the CodeJam that your piece of work must in some way relate to will be released in our Discord! This is to ensure, as much as possible, content is created within the timeframe.
- Discord Moderator's are welcome to Jam too, but their placement in the rankings will be ignored. Sorry folks - NO SOUP FOR YOU!
- Depending on how many members and supporters we have, there will be a prize of reasonable weight for the winning team funded by Bizz.
Judgement of the entry's in the CodeJam will be Peer Reviewed. Meaning once Voting opens, you'll be able to see everyone's submission and rank them on a few predefined ratings. These ratings, as well as moderator discretion, will be used to ascertain the winners of the CodeJam!
