the theme for over the edge #1 is out of control.

why?

because you wanna make games. 

maybe you're experienced, maybe you aren't. maybe you've been honing useful skills for years, maybe you're just starting out. for this game jam it doesn't matter, all that matters is that you make something.
go over the edge and see what happens.

how?

ote#1 gives you one week, it's up to you to create something in that time.

you are free to:
-work with any team size
-use as much or little time as you want
-be as faithful to the theme as you wish
-incorporate sexuality as much or little as you want
-work within any medium you want, be it digital, on paper, anything. you could make just a set of instructions, go wild.

we will not grade your game, but we encourage you to share your process and it's results. 

what?

like many game jams we use a theme. it will be publicly posted in our discord's game jam announcement channel the same time the jam starts, if you'd rather see it ahead of time you can find a spoiler there as well.

tools

our discord holds channels for feedback, finding collaborators and posting project overviews, use them!

house rules

as with the rest of our community the following rules apply:
1. no bigotry of any kind, hate speech, right wing apologia or twitter centrism allowed here.
2. the following content is forbidden:
minors, shota, loli, cubs
zoophilia
snuff, excessive violence, self-harm
non-consensual content, dub-con is debatable
3. this is a safe space centred around non-heteronormative sexuality in games. persons of any sexuality and gender are welcome, so long as they oppose heteronormativity.
