You have a month to make an hour of soundtrack.

Up for the challenge?

Welcome aboard.

INTRODUCTION

OST Composing Jam is back with another format, and this one's for those who can't get enough: you have one month to create at least one hour* of soundtrack of any genre for an imaginary game. Collaboration is encouraged to make one cohesive, complete soundtrack. You can find teams on our Discord server.

This jam will be unranked, meaning there will be no rating system, the main system will instead be giving feedback and comments. We also plan to organise a listening session of all the submissions at some point after the jam.

ABOUT

Hey there, and welcome to OST Composing Jam!

This is a place where musicians of all skill levels come together to write soundtracks for imaginary games just for fun, growth, and creativity. It started as a small idea and has now become one of the biggest music jams on Itch.io. Whether you're a seasoned composer or trying this for the first time, this is a space to explore storytelling through music, push your creativity, and be part of a supportive community of like-minded artists.

Note: The themes here are more like an inspiration, and strictly speaking there are no specific "musical theme" for you to follow and that you can compose in any genre you want, so the submissions can be as diverse as possible.
