What is it:

Once a year the O.G.D.J will be held for students both in and out of orewa college. It's a friendly competition for people to work on game development skills.

How does it work:

There will be 3 categories; Art/Animation, Music and Coding. If contestants aren't so good at coding but are good at music they can enter in the Music category.

How do I enter?:

First off you will have to create an account on itch.io so you can enter the game jam created on it. We will be working on a website to post the theme of the event. By creating an itch.io account and joining the jam it helps get a hold of numbers. 

What do I do once I enter?:

First off you will choose what category to participate in. Let's imagine I chose the coding category, I will look at the announcement on the youtube channel and see what theme I will have to relate my game to. I will then make my game somehow related to the theme and then upload it to the website. This will work the same for art and music, you will have to make your final product somewhat related to the theme.
