About This Project

Welcome to OpenIQ - KKC, an exclusive game development training and workshop program designed to empower aspiring developers in the Isan region. Organized by Open iQ in Khon Kaen, this program focuses on providing hands-on experience in building interactive 3D games using the Unity Engine.

Through this training, participants will learn the fundamentals of Unity, including project configuration, importing custom assets, and designing levels within a professional development environment.

The First Jam Challenge: OBBY ASCENSION!

To put your newly acquired skills to the test, we are officially launching our very first internal Game Jam: OBBY ASCENSION!

• The Theme / Genre: "Obby" (Obstacle Course) / Platformer
• The Objective: Participants must design and build a 3D platforming obstacle course game based on the concepts taught during the training session. Your game should challenge players to navigate through complex, creative, and engaging levels to reach the summit!
• Format: This is an Unlisted / Private Jam. Participation is strictly limited to registered students and trainees of the OpenIQ - KKC Khon Kaen cohort.
