This game jam is made mainly for everyone who loves to work with tight rules. Because of that this jam will run for 7 days. With that you should have enough time to work with all restrictions.

Rewards:

Top 5 games will get 5€ donation and 1st will get 5€ extra. I can not give you more, but I still want to reward the ones that will try hardest.

Rules:

  • ---  JAM SPECIFIC RULES ---
  • COLOR_LIMIT - You may use only 16 different colors (including white and black)
  • OS_LIMIT - You have to make your game for at least 2 different operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, etc)
  • UI_LIMIT - No in game UI (You can have main menu (to setup controls etc). Just no UI in game itself)
  • TEXT_LIMIT - No more that 16 different words in game
  • ACTION_LIMIT - Movement + max 4 actions (one action is one button that can do just one thing) (Opening, attacking, taking, etc)
  • CHEATS_LIMIT - Your game has to have at least one cheat (It should be hidden in game but written in submission detail)
    • NOTICE: This is not counted as action
  • BREAK_LIMIT - Implement one button or key that will break or crash your game (It should be hidden in game but written in submission detail)
    • NOTICE: This is not counted as action
  • CREDITS_LIMIT - Include credits in game itself
  • OPEN_LIMIT - Make your game open in anyway ( you can take it as secondary theme)
  • FUN_LIMIT - Make your game fun in anyway ( you can take it as secondary theme)
  • --- GENERAL RULES ---
  • You can use any engine. Your own custom built one (developed outside the jam) is totally fair game.
  • Your game specific programming should be done within the time frame of this jam.
  • Your game must be submitted to the official Itch.io game jam page before the end.
  • Your game's Itch page should have:
    • A brief summary of your mechanics.
    • Clear instructions on installation, dependency requirements, and how to run the game.
    • Screen shots (lets make it nice)
  • Your game can use any assets


    • That includes music, sound effects, fonts, all of it.
    • Any material must be given proper credit on your entry's page.
  • You’re allowed (and encouraged) to work in teams.

Scoring:

  • You will get points for each restriction that you will work with
  • If you set that you used criteria and it will not be true you will lose points
