Welcome to the One Week One Boss Jam!
One Week Jams will run every 2 months or so, and it is an awesome way to unleash your creativity, old ideas, meet other devs, and the best part: at the end you will have a game that you can share with other people and friends.
The game you make must be based on the jam theme which is announced when the jam starts. After the jam is over your game will get rated on by other participants and you will get to vote on other games. The game has to contain 3+ bosses.
「🤝」Can I team up?
Teams are allowed and recommended! Visit the Discord Server or just use Community!
We recommend that you keep your team size under 4 members: it can be hard to coordinate in just a week.
「🔉」Theme
The theme will be announced after the jam starts.
There will be 3 WildCards which will contain a challenge to the developer. Example: Simple Shapes (the game must contain only simple shapes - triangle, square, line, dot)
「✅」Rules
✅ Be friendly and respectful to others.
✅Be playable in browser.
✅Teaming up is allowed. See above.
✅No Premade Assets!!! If your game has used one, you're disqualified.
✅Follow the itch.io TOS.
❌No NSFW or offensive content.
❌No AI-generated content.
If any of the projects seem to have broken one of the rules, DM me in Discord: mark_19090. In order to get unbanned, fix the game and then DM me.
