I've had to adjust my plans for the second part of the course. Originally, I intended to use the end of your Certified Program to discuss your games, the previous courses, and how they affected your game development process.
Since I can't (and don't want to) change your homework submission deadline, I've decided to speedrun the whole process by doing a game jam with you. The goal here is to make those of you who have never participated in a game jam before feel more comfortable joining one, and for those who have, to reinforce that they are fun and a great way to learn and explore. Plus, I'll be squeezing in some extra (hopefully) helpful tips.
We’ll work as one group — all of us, together — on a single project. No preset roles, no rigid structure: we’ll decide how to divide tasks as we go, and everyone’s input is welcome. The jam will take place on-site and over the course of one day, using zero- and low-code engines to keep things accessible and moving quickly (and staying within the course-defined learning goals).
We’ll choose a single theme, which we’ll vote on together (I’m open to suggestions if you have any ahead of time!). As for AI tools, the decision to use them or not will be made as a group — though for the record, my heart says no.
There’ll be no ratings or prizes for the final outcome. The focus is on participation, experimentation, and having fun. That’s what matters most.

None needed. To keep things as realistic as possible, I set up a Discord server. We will use it on sight to exchange stuff and document the whole process. Feel free to join already.
