This game jam challenges you to explore the concept of singularity—whether it's a single life, a single choice, or a singular path to victory. In this jam, you only get one, so make it count!

What Does "You Only Get One" Mean? The theme is open to interpretation, and we encourage creativity! Here are a few ways you might interpret it:
One Life: Create a game where every move matters because the player only has one life to complete the game.
One Button: Limit controls to a single button, pushing the boundaries of design and mechanics.
One Choice: Design a branching narrative where the player has only one critical decision to make.
One Level: Craft a rich experience within the confines of a single, well-designed level.
One Resource: Develop a game where players manage a single, precious resource to achieve success.  

Rules & Guidelines:
Timeframe: The jam runs from March 10th, 2025 12pm CST to March 24th, 2025 12pm CST.
Team Size: Solo developers and teams of any size are welcome!
Engine & Tools: Use any tools you like.
Submission Requirements: Submit a playable build along with a brief description of how your game connects to the theme.
Prizes: Bragging rights and brownie points!
Assets: Any premade/purchased assets are allowed, just as long as credit is given appropriately.

Judging Criteria:
Theme Integration: How well does the game embrace the "You Only Get One" theme?
Presentation: The visual and audio polish of the game. Any styles are welcome.
Gameplay: Is it fun, engaging, and well-balanced?
Stability: How stable/buggy is the game?
