SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
If your game is a physical card game, please provide print and play instructions.
If your game is not a physical card game, please provide one or both of the following:

• A .zip file containing everything you need to run your game, and a .TXT for instructions if needed.
• A link to an itch page where your game can be played in the browser.

(Just to be 100% clear, the game MUST be free to play for all participants of the jam for the entirety of the judging period. We had a submission violate this rule that we had thought would be implied by the above, but just in case, there's the clarifier.)

A: a trollgame is a game that sets up and subverts expectations.  The best trollgames are ones where the player can follow the logic of the game, but that doesn't stop them from walking into the game's traps.

A: Judging is open to all who submit a game.  Judging will begin after the game submissions close and run for 168 hours (1 week).  On November 8 the winners will be announced.

q: WHAT IS THE PRIZE I DONT WORK FOR FREE YALL?????????????????????

A: I guess it's time to start talking about the PRIZE PACKAGE 

Q: WHAT THERE IS A PRIZE PACKAG?E?!!!

A: YES If we get to that point and we are prepared to give out prizes, there will be a first place prize of:

and also $50 for the highest rated game and a last place prize of $5 for the lowest-rated game.  MeanGirlsGames will reach out to the winner/loser.  As MeanGirlsGames will be participating in the jam, they will not be giving themselves any prizes, so whoever is below/above them will get a prize if a MeanGirls game wins/loses.  The bonus points for being a card game will not factor into who gets a prize, only who gets points in the hearts of Mean Girls. (a game containing an O RLY owl will receive exactly one bonus point)
