Welcome to the 2025 October Scratch Jam!
This jam is all about creativity, learning, and having fun while making games. Whether you’re a beginner just getting started with Scratch or an experienced creator looking to try something new, this is your chance to experiment, learn, and share your ideas with others in a friendly, supportive environment. You can work solo or in a team, and the main goal is to learn something new—don’t stress too much about winning! The jam is meant to encourage you to explore new coding techniques, game mechanics, or storytelling ideas, and to have fun in the process.
After the jam ends, a panel of three judges will review all submissions and select a Top 3. From those, they’ll choose one overall winner. Each game will be judged based on three main criteria:

Relevance to the Theme – How well does your game reflect the jam’s chosen theme? Creative interpretations are encouraged, but your project should still have a clear connection.

Game Idea – How original, interesting, or innovative is your concept? Judges will be looking for clever designs, unique mechanics, or memorable stories.

Fun and Playability – Is your game enjoyable to play? Does it feel engaging, balanced, and polished?
