Hello and welcome to Not a Jam!

As the name says: this is not a regular game jam! You don't have to make a game with a random theme in some random time, because you already made the game! Huh? Yeah, This jam is meant to judge and award your games of the past year! Just select the best game you've made in the past year, and submit it! There's no theme and no limits; 3d, 2d, platformer, top-down... It doesn't matter! There are some rules tho:

• You can only submit a game that you already have published on itch.io
• We will be checking if your game has been made in the past year. If not, the game won't be participating for any awards
• Your game must be finished. No unfinished business please!

Some more information

There are 5 "Things" we will be judging the games on;  Art, Fun, Story, Originality and from those four games we will choose an Overall winner. At Art we will only be looking at self-made art. If you have made game-art yourself, please let us know in your submission description! I think there won't be needed any explanation for Fun. At Story we will be looking at your game-story; Is it a good story, or just a standard zombie apocalypse? Of course we understand not every game has a story! At Originality we will be looking at an original idea. Is it new, or just another boring rip-off? And, as mentioned before, from those four winners we will pick one Overall Winner. Each winner will receive an official Not a Jam Banner that can be placed in his/her/their game! If this Jam can get at least 30 submissions, there will be prize money in the future too! So, all you have to do is pick a game you made in the past year, and submit it!

Q: I'm currently working on a game and will be finishing it during this jam/right before this jam. Can I still publish it?

A: Ofcourse!

Q: My game has no Art, Story or Originality, but is kinda fun. Submittable?  

A: YES!!

Q: My games is sold 100.000 times on Steam and has been downloaded over 200.000 times in total. Submittable?

A: Please don't, this "Jam" is meant for "unknown" games.
