 - Nordic Game For All begins with a Game Jam! Nordic Game For All is proud to be hosting a game jam in the Spring of 2022. The theme for the jam is Proximity, Nearness in time, space, relationships.

Rules for the Jam are as follows

• The goal is to form a team and create a game product during 14th-15th of May 2022. (You can participate as solo as well but you have to have a team name)
• Proximity - the theme for the jam - has to be easily perceived from the game product.
•  You must be of legal adult age in the country from which you are attending the jam.
• The work is to be started and completed during the jam weekend. (You can think of ideas and form teams before the starting date but the actual work can only start on the 14th)
• All the work has to be self made or either usable with a creative commons licence
• You can remix your old code
• You can photobash or remix image assets that are free to use with a creative commons license.
• Use the team spaces provided in the Nordic Game server for discussions related to the work. (The spaces provided will be private, visible only to the Nordic Game Staff, to you and your teammates) This is done so that the staff of NG can observe that the Code of Conduct is being held. (Once you have your team ready, DM Emmi or Tarja in the discord to let us know you have your team and we assign you with a room)  
• All the team members have to be signed up on the NG Discord Server (Join here: https://discord.gg/Gnyk9hJQmS )
• Our code of conduct also applies to the games produced in the jam
• Since we are an online jam, to help with the judging the finished product should be a windows build of a pc game.
• Alongside the pc game you need to also make a poster for your game. Think of an advertisement that could appear in a printed magazine. Size should be a vertical image in the size of 1080x1920 pixels.

 The deadline for submissions is 15th of May 22:00 CET.

Additional notes

 - The contestants have the rights to the game they make/finish during the game jam.

 - Nordic Game has the rights to use assets created during the game jam for marketing purposes.
