Welcome to the first Non-Fungible Trees Jam! 🌳✨

We want artists to be able to make money and not harm the environment in any unnecessary way. We appreciate the current boom & interest in unique art & we want to create more of it, BUT we refuse to unnecessarily harm the environment. NFTs have seen a large amount of attention recently, but they have various ethical, economical and ecological issues that we cannot look past as artists. The environment is not interchangeable. 🌳

This jam aims to provide the time and space to create sharable art (f.e. looping GIFs or videos) and systems like generators, shaders, environments or other shenanigans that will enable you to create these.

The jam is over - what now? 

• You could use itch’s reward system [Twitter Publish ] to create your own one-off version of your creation. Unique certificates for your sale on itch will make the buyer feel special - You can go for something like the picture added below (inspiration: @farfewgiants).
• Please do not create NFTs from the created content! 
• Donating profit to environmental charity is highly supported. 🌳
