NC State University Collegiate Game Jam (In-Person)

Dates: Sept 25–28, 2025 • Location: James B. Hunt Jr. Library, 1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC

Eligibility: Current NC State undergrad/grad students. Teams of 3–4. In-person only.

Registration is CLOSED. No competitors who have not already registered through the library will be accepted.

Tools: All tools and engines allowed. Submissions must include a playable build (or web game) and a 1–4 minute video.

Judging: A panel of invited judges will score entries on Visuals and Look, Sound and Music, Design and Coherence, Theme: Core and Creativity, Playability and Fun and Teaching and Learning. Overall score will exclude the Teaching and Learning subscore.

  • Runner-up
  • 2nd Runner-up
  • Honorable Mentions
  • Outstanding Application of Games for Teaching & Learning

Awards: Cash prizes & recognition at the closing ceremony followed by a showcase in the NC State Gaming and Esports Lab
