NaGaDeMon has been running every November since 2010 - this is the event's 15th anniversary! A 'NaNo Rebel' in more ways than one, rather than hit a word count you need to do three things to win:

• Create a game! Digital, tabletop, big or small – just create that thing that has gripped your imagination.

👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 Play 

• Play your game – or offer to play someone else’s. After all, what good is a game if nobody gets to play it?

💬 Talk 

• Talk about games, game design and the joy of games. Share your experiences as you create and play.

No judges, no competition – just your own inspiration, a deadline,  and an enthusiastic community to spur you on! Join us here, on Discord, or on Facebook.

Making a game completely from scratch, revising an ashcan, or creating a second edition? Designing your own system or code, or using an SRD or a game making program? All good! We're not cops!

That being said, we want to make a note that using generative 'A.I.' just defeats the purpose of trying to slay the NaGaDeMon, which is to chase the spark of inspiration and create something that is truly yours, and then share that enthusiasm and creativity with others. Don’t hand your endeavor over to the plagiarism engines! And if you need help, the community is raring to go!

Oh, and the 'National' is more the nation of game designers, not any one place on the planet - IntGaDeMon neither rolls off the tongue as well as nor allows for rampant use of snake emojis like NaGaDeMon. 🐍
