The N64brew Community is hosting its sixth Nintendo 64 Homebrew Game Jam. Like previous years, we are running a charity event, where the first place entry gets to decide where the proceeds go to.
We've got a starting donation pool of $100, subject to increase over time. If you've ever been interested in homebrew development or old consoles, now might be the best time to jump in! You don't even need to be a programmer, 2D or 3D artists, and musicians are needed as well!
We are returning to form by having guest judges this year (to be announced soon).
I've never programmed for a game console before!
At N64brew, we provide tons of resources to get you started, as well as an active community with hundreds of members willing to answer questions and help you out.
I don't own a Nintendo64/flashcart. Can I still participate?
While we require submissions to run on real hardware, we provide a channel to allow you to ask people to test your ROM. It is recommended you do this often, emulators aren't always accurate.
