MVZone Game  Jam is a 30 days game jam with no theme, but the game must be a MetroidVania.

A MetroidVania game feature a large interconnected map, that the player usually can't freely roam from the start of the game, but he has to acquire special items, weapons or abilities that can be used to reach sections of the map that weren't reachable first. Usually these games are 2D, but they can be 3D too.

Join the MVZone Discord server to find teammates and for every announcements.

1) The game must be a MetroidVania.
2) If you use someone assets, be sure to have the authorization.
3) You can't work on already started projects.
4) No NSFW content.
5) No racist/sexist/homophobic or in any way controversial content.

Games will be rated by the other participants in a period of 7 days. The games will be rated on:

Gameplay - How much did you enjoy the game, and how the game design was.
Graphics - How did the game looks.
Audio - Audio effects and musics.
Concept - How the main idea of the game was interesting or unique.

A: You can use any engine you wish.

Q: Can I modify the game during the rating period?
A: No.

Q: Can I submit an already finished game?
A: No.
